What serum boxes is, and when it is the right call
A serum bottle is glass with a dropper cap, which is the fragile combination. The insert has to hold the bottle by the shoulder, not the neck, so drop shock runs into the board rather than into the pipette. That single detail accounts for most breakage complaints in this category.
Serums are also the cosmetics format most likely to carry regulated claims, so the carton needs panel space planned for ingredients, batch, expiry and jurisdiction text before the design goes on. Retro-fitting a compliance panel always costs a redesign.
