The construction is identical across all three. What changes is the board it is cut from and whether the product shows.
The cheapest way to look considered
There is no glue, no lock and no assembly sequence in a pillow box: you press the two curved ends and it is closed. That makes it the fastest pack in this catalogue to fill by hand, and the cheapest to ship because it stores completely flat.
What it will not do is protect anything. A pillow box is a presentation layer for something small and robust — a bracelet, a soap, a set of cables, a wedding favour. Put anything crushable in it and use a carton instead.
Board weight
14pt is enough for anything under about 100 grams. Heavier contents pull the curve open, and 18pt fixes it for very little money.
Foil board
Metallic laminate reads as expensive at a unit cost close to plain board. Colours print differently on it, so we proof before the run.
Window placement
The aperture has to sit inside the curve, not across it, or the film creases when the box closes.
