Custom Mailing Tubes
Spiral-wound tubes for anything that rolls or cannot be creased — prints, posters, textiles, blueprints — plus rigid gift tubes for bottles and candles. Ends in plastic caps, crimped metal or a telescoping lid.
- MOQ 100
- Wall thickness 1.5mm to 3mm
- Plain kraft or full printed wrap
Three tube builds
Pick by what is going in it and how it will be handled. Parcel handling and freight handling are not the same problem.
Wall thickness is the whole decision
A tube fails in one of two ways: the wall crushes or the end pops off. Wall thickness handles the first, end type the second, and the right combination depends entirely on whether the tube travels as a parcel or on a pallet.
For print and poster work, 1.5mm with plastic caps is enough and keeps postage low. For anything going into freight, 3mm with crimped metal ends survives being stood on, which is what actually happens in a trailer.
Diameter and roll
Rolling a print too tight sets a curl that never comes out. Tell us the sheet size and we will give you the diameter that keeps it flat.
Printed wrap or plain
A printed litho wrap turns a tube into packaging rather than transport. On plain kraft, a one-colour flexo logo costs very little.
End type
Plastic caps come off under load. Crimped metal does not, but it is not resealable — pick for the journey, not the unboxing.

Mailing tubes questions
Anything else, a specialist answers it on the phone in a minute.
Ask about this lineSend us the flat sheet size. Rolling too tight sets a permanent curl, so we work back from the print rather than the tube.
Yes, with a litho wrap laminated to the body. For plain kraft, one or two colour flexo direct to the tube is far cheaper.
The 3mm wall with crimped metal ends is. Standard 1.5mm parcel tubes are not, and will arrive oval.
Yes. Rigid gift tubes arrive made up; plain mailing tubes also ship as tubes, not flat.

We spec wall thickness and ends against the journey, then quote the tube and the wrap together.
